Li-Ying CHEN, was born in Tainan, Taiwan, 1996.

Caused by Chen lived with her grandma who a person of few words and here’s not a peer around the grandma’s house, Chen also became a shy person of few words. But she's full of perceptive insights and observant of the difficulties surrounding her. After moving back home with her parents, Chen started to learn dancing, music, painting, calligraphy etc. Influenced by her father, she is very talented in art. Even though, she’s not good at academic subjects. Due to Chen’s parent’s occupations are teachers, they compare Chen with others, she’s growing to be an inferiority complex person.

For escaping learning academic subjects, Chen chose studied Fine Art at the beginning. She started coming to contact with different, professional, interesting knowledge and artworks. She was taught by few talented teachers, got compliments from them. They encourage Chen in learning more about art, getting more impressive experiences in other country. Chen knew the mothed, form of doing artworks was special and different from the students in the school. Therefore, Chen felt more confident while doing artworks.

In Chen’s opinion, through doing artworks can be challenging and therapeutic. She hopes people can be moved, be healed by her artworks. Hence, Chen decided to make an all-out effort for being an artist.
